How Does Dandelion’s Monitoring Work?

Unlike traditional heating systems, Dandelion’s home geothermal system has remote monitoring capabilities. Combining wifi and secure cloud storage, Dandelion’s state of the art system, is more responsive, smarter, and more innovative than any other heating / cooling system on the market.

A heating system for the 21st century

Dandelion is bringing technological innovation to home heating and cooling—an industry that hasn’t benefited from significant technological innovation in decades. Dandelion is changing that by offering heating and cooling for the 21st century.

In addition to its integration with Smart thermostat—allowing customers to control the temperature of their homes from their phones—Dandelion’s system includes remote monitoring.

Dandelion’s system is smarter

Traditional furnaces are simple — they burn fuel and use heat transfers to warm air, which is then pushed through a home. However, when one part of a traditional furnace stops working, the system fails.

Dandelion’s remote monitoring allows our system to be smarter which means a more efficient, dependable, and responsive system for you.

Within every heat pump, there is a device that collects and stores data about how every part of your system is operating--how much power it is using, how the heat pump is communicating with the thermostat, and internal pressure, temperature, flow rate.

Then, that data is uploaded—around every 10 seconds—to secure cloud servers. Once there, Dandelion engineers can comb through the incoming data for irregularities, and refer to the data if they need to do any debugging.
